Professional supervision
Time and space to examine your practice
How can Your Headspace help?
Your Headspace provides independent professional supervision on a one to one, paired or small group basis. Whatever your level of experience as a speech and language therapist, you need time to meet regularly with a qualified and experienced supervisor to discuss your work. Professional supervision allows you the time and space to examine your practice in a way that supports your learning, well-being, and the provision of a sustainable quality service.
Zein provides a safe and professional space that supports reflective conversations. “My approach is informed and inspired by my own supervision experiences and training, a belief in collaborative working and the importance of self-care. We can work together to explore whatever you bring to supervision, enabling movement, creativity, learning and change.”
All supervision is offered in accordance with guidelines from the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists. Contact Your Headspace for an informal chat to discuss your requirements.
Arranging a supervision session
Supervision can be in person, held online via an online platform, or on the telephone. In-person sessions could be at a neutral location like a café, at your work base, or outdoors for a walking supervision session.
Supervision fees:
Individual session: £90 for initial 1 ½ hour session. For subsequent sessions, I operate a sliding scale of £60 per hour if paid for by an individual therapist and £80 per hour for organisations.
Paired session: £100 for 1.5 hours session
Small group four people: £150 for 1.5 hours session
For in-person sessions, other costs that may include travel and travel time, are negotiated in advance. I usually charge for return travel beyond 10 miles of my base at 45p per mile.
